Mr. Shadrack Natamba

Overview And Experience

Shadrack Natamba is a distinguished academic administrator and curriculum developer currently serving as a member of the Faculty of Peace and Diplomacy; Karamoja Peace and Technology University. He is also the Academic Registrar at Kabalega College Masindi. With over a decade of experience in higher education, he has played a pivotal role in the institution’s growth, overseeing the growth of student enrollment from just 46 in 2022 to over 1,000 by 2025. His strategic initiatives led to the development of two new diploma programs and contributed significantly to the college’s accreditation as a recognised institution of higher learning by the National Council for Higher Education (NCHE).

Prior to his role at Kabalega College, Shadrack spent ten years as an Assistant Lecturer at Kyambogo University, where he was instrumental in curriculum development for several academic programs. His experience also extends to Uganda Christian University, where he developed key programs in Human Rights, Peace, and Humanitarian Intervention.

Shadrack holds a Master of Arts in Development Studies from Uganda Christian University and a Bachelor’s degree with First Class Honors in the same field. His expertise encompasses academic administration, curriculum design, and institutional growth strategies. He is well-versed in managing academic records, coordinating assessments, and supporting faculty and students.

In addition to his administrative role, Shadrack actively engages in research and has published works that address critical issues in urban development and education. He is committed to fostering academic excellence and enhancing the educational landscape in Uganda through innovative practices and community outreach. His leadership is characterised by a strong dedication to mentorship and student success in a multi-cultural learning environment.
